Our Scholarships

From one initial scholarship in 2012, the Foundation’s impact has grown to offering four scholarships each year. Check out our past award recipients, and read updates from past winners.

To date, the Foundation has given 24 scholarships, and committed over $50,000 to recipients.

In 2023, we will commit to providing $10,000 towards continued educational achievement.

Since the scholarships’ inception, WBF Scholars have attended colleges such as MIT, Clemson and RPI, as well as several top Los Angeles-area high schools. We are proud of all our past recipients, with more to come!

Frederick, MD

One scholarship given to a graduating senior at Walkersville (MD) High School, given as the Frederick Community Foundation Warfield Scholarship Recipient.

Los Angeles, CA

Yearly scholarships given to outstanding graduating 8th graders from St Lawrence of Brindsi School.

The WBF is proud to offer the following scholarships and grants each year:

  • One $1,000 Warfield Brothers Foundation Scholarship, awarded to a graduating senior from Walkersville High School (MD). One student from the high school Zack and Justin attended will be selected for this scholarship. Winners will be selected based on their academic, athletic and community achievements, as well as for a desire to study math, the sciences or technology in college. This scholarship is provided through the Community Foundation of Frederick County, as the Zachary G. Warfield Memorial Scholarship.
  • Three Warfield Brothers Foundation Scholarships (totaling $3,000 per year), awarded to three graduating students from the St Lawrence of Brindsi School (K-8) in the Watts section of Los Angeles, CA. Through generosity of The Friends of St. Lawrence-Watts (CA) Youth Center, these outstanding students are able to fully fund an education at a private high school in Los Angeles. The WBF Scholarship provides $3,000 each year to defray the substantial cost of their high-level, private Los Angeles-area high school education.
